CAFCC: WHAT IS NEXT FOR PLATEAU UNITED, AKWA FC AND MFM FC?

The woeful continental adventure of the top three teams of the 2017 NPFL edition is not a news any longer, what is burning now is how they can leverage on the number of games left to consolidate on something.

MFM FC and Plateau United are both placed on the 11th and 12th position respectively with three and four outstanding games. Winning this outstanding games doesn't guarantee a position on top of the table

At the moment only Akwa United has been the most impressive in the league out of all the continental contenders though the Plateau and MFM have outstanding matches. MFM FC led by Fedilis Ilechukwu have been struggling with both their away and home form and the Kennedy Boboye's Plateau United seemed not to be able to combine the rigours of both local and continental engagement.

Only two trophies are available which are the league title and the FA Cup. However, getting a continental ticket may be seen as a plus to them. Kano Pillars and Lobi Stars are currently sitting on top of the league which also means two continental slots out of the possible four are almost becoming secured at the expense of Plateau United and MFM FC.

Both teams have only a few weeks to impress and to give a sign if they will be a force to reckon with this season.
